1. PHILIPPINE AIRLINES

Excess or Oversized Baggage Fee:

Excess baggage fee of USD 5.00 (or its equivalent in CAD currency) per kilo shall be charged.

Each flight ticket has its own Free Baggage Allowance policy. This FBA entitlement is valid only on that specific flight and may not necessarily apply to your connecting flights. PAL or other carriers may require you to pay excess baggage fees if your FBA entitlement is lower on your connecting flights.

2. SAUDIA AIRLINES

Excess or Oversized Baggage Fee:

As mentioned above, all excess baggage pieces shouldn’t exceed 23KG and an additional USD60$ will be added in

case it exceeds that with maximum of 32KG.

Hand Luggage:

Hand bag (the size of the piece not to exceed 115 cm)
The total weight of the luggage not to exceed 7 kg.

3. QATAR AIRWAYS

A single piece of checked baggage must not weigh more than 32kg (70lb) or exceed 158cm (62in) in length+width+height. Any bags weighing more than 32kg (70lb) must be broken down such that each piece weighs less than 32kg (70lb). For details click HERE.

4. SINGAPOREAN AIRLINES

An infant is entitled to 10kg of baggage, as well as a fully collapsible stroller or pushchair and carry-cot or car seat.

You’ll be required to repack your baggage if it exceeds 32kg. If you wish to transport a bag that is more than 32kg in weight, please contact your local Singapore Airlines office.

If you’re checking in a bulky item at Singapore Changi Airport, it should not exceed 200cm (length) x 75cm (width) x 80cm (height).

5. EMIRATES AIRLINES

Excess or Oversized Baggage Fee:

This fee varies according to sector of travel, class of travel and the membership level of the passenger.

With Infants: allowed 10 kg extra

6. GULF AIR

In line with IATA regulations and the legislation of many countries, no single piece of checked baggage may weigh more than 32 kg. If it exceeds 32 kg, you will be asked to repack the bag by our Customer Service staff.

Economy

Two checked pieces, provided the total linear dimensions (height + width + depth) for both bags added together does not exceed 273 cm (107 inches) and the weight of each bag does not exceed 23 kg (50 lbs).

Bags that weigh more than 23 kg (50 lbs) but below 32 kg (70 lbs) will incur a fixed overweight charge of USD50.00 for economy passengers. Any passengers wishing to carry an additional piece(s) over and above their free allowance, will be charged as per American Airlines policy which is available on their website.

With Infants: allowed 3kg extra

7. MALAYSIAN AIRLINES

To comply with Global Health and Safety regulations for baggage handlers, Malaysia Airlines has imposed a strict ruling to ensure that each single piece of item or baggage that is checked in DOES NOT exceed 32 kg (70 lbs).

Irrespective of class of travel, any single piece of baggage weighing more than 32 kg (70 lbs) will not be accepted at check-in counters at any station. Customers will be required to reduce the weight by repacking the baggage into smaller units before they are allowed to check in. This regulation equally applies to transit baggage.

Excess Baggage Fees:

Fees apply to each 11 lb/5 kg of extra baggage. For Economy Class, baggage weighing over 50 lb/23 kg and up to 70 lb/32 kg, passengers will be charged $25 per piece for the first 2 pieces.


8. KUWAIT AIRWAYS

Passenger Checked Baggage should not exceed below dimensions. Normal CHECK-IN Bag should be within: Maximum dimensions 158cm/62inch

Note: Overlimit Size and/or O​ver weight: If the baggage exceeds the permissible limits in Dimensions or Weight allowance, then it would be considered as an extra piece.

9. ETIHAD AIRWAYS

Hand baggage (carry-on) allowance:

Economy Class -1 bag, up to 7kg Business Class -2 bags, up to 12kg in total

First Class – 2 bags, up to 12kg in total

Maximum weight and dimensions
– To / from Canada and the US: 158cm (50x70x38)
– To / from all other destinations: 207cm (45x72x90)

10. CATHAY PACIFIC

Any baggage that weighs more than 32kg / 70lbs or measures more than 203cm / 80in in total dimension must be repacked into split-up units within these limits. Your bag’s total dimension is the sum of its width, height and length.

Is it possible to carry an LCD or LED TV in my hand carry or checked-in baggage?

YES.

Depending on the country where you will be coming from and depending on your airline requirements, each piece of hand-carry is restricted to only up to 7.0 kg or checked-in baggage is restricted to a maximum dimension (length + width + height) of 158 cm for transatlantic flights, and 300 cm for all other flights.
