A not-guilty plea was given by Filipina domestic worker who is facing three counts of assault and two of indecent assault charges on a child under her care at the Kowloon City Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
Angela Vivo, who was able to be out of jail through a bail, is accused of hurting and indecently assaulting a six-year-old boy on separate occasions for a period of four years.
The prosecution has presented three witnesses against the accused. The alleged victim will give evidence, as well.
The court heard that the first assault happened on an unrecalled day in June 2016 outside the Yau Ma Tei Fire Station in Kowloon. Two other assaults offenses happened between July 2016 and on Sept 7, 2018 allegedly in the same venue.
The charge stated that the assaults had caused hurt that affected the boy’s health. The two-day trial where both parties is expected to appear is scheduled in June.
