Isang OFW Na Waiter, Inakalang Pinoy Ang Arabo Na ito Dahil sa Galing Mag Bicolano at Tagalog Nito

With the ongoing tension between our country and the Middle East because of the rampant abuse suffered by our OFWs, everyone is seeking a story that can provide respite from the pain. Luckily, Glen Colinares has the perfect video that will surely bring a smile to any Filipino’s face. The video stars a kind Arab man who is amazingly fluent in Tagalog and Bisaya!
We mostly hear stories about our OFWs being physically and sexually abused in the Middle East. Some of them are also given unfair wages and some of them are even murdered. However, this adorable video taken shows that not all foreigners from this part of the world are mean.

The Filipino waiter did not expect that one of the customers that would be walking inside his restaurant would connect with him at such a profound level. At the beginning of the clip, the kind Arab man greeted Glen and asked him, all in Tagalog of course, what the restaurant’s best sellers were.
Amazed by what he heard, the amused waiter teased the Arab that he was better than Glen at speaking in Tagalog. He said:
“Siguro mas magaling ka sa akin pero siguro lang.“

The two men then engaged in a conversation about the foreigner’s life. He revealed to Glen that he has already been to Manila and Bicol, which can explain how he learned the language, but he didn’t give any specific details about how long he stayed in the Philippines. Glen’s guest was quick to say how nice and loving Bicolanos were.
“Mabait ang mga Bicolano, malalmbing ang mga Bicolano.“
Just like what our fellow Filipino said, it truly is an honor that someone from another country acknowledges how nice and welcoming our people can be.
Here are some netizens’ reactions to the video:
